 For website repairs & design, I use a text editor ( NoteTab Pro ) to avoid problems arising from coding changes made by different WYSIWYG
programs. I only use WYSIWYG programs for generating complicated pieces of code and for image mapping. I then copy and paste this code into the text editor.
I check my work in 3 different browsers ( Internet Explorer, Netscape & Opera ) to reasonably assure proper HTML
rendering in any modern browser. The browser wars are not over yet!
For graphics I mainly use Micrografx Picture Publisher. I use Microsoft GIF Animator for assembling animated GIFs. These two fine programs are no longer available.
